LIVE concerts have been recorded since the creation of the event in 1967 by Swiss National TV (RTS) in the early editions, Montreux Sounds and Montreux Jazz Festival.

Montreux Sounds is designed to serve artists, professionals in the audio-visual industry – broadcasters, producers, directors, documentary-makers and journalists – as well as cultural and educational institutions bodies.
